Dr. Justina Codde, practice owner, graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1999. In addition to her veterinary degree, Dr. Codde also has a master’s degree in Animal Science specializing in reproductive physiology. She has published two research papers as the lead investigator and has been involved with numerous other research projects. Dr. Codde is the volunteer veterinarian for Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue since 2004. She enjoys working with several animal rescue groups to provide care for their animals. She also spent 8 years volunteering with the county 4H program and taught numerous projects. Her family is the highlight of her life and she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her daughters. She has owned hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, dogs, cats, sheep and cattle.
Dr. Catherine Cowles graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1998. She has been working at Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital since graduation. She also volunteers her time as a community club leader and project leader for the local county 4H. She has owned chickens, bees, chinchilla and a dog.
Dr. Karen Rauhaus graduated from Colorado State University in 2001 and has worked at Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital since 2002. In addition to her veterinary degree, she has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa. She has owned cats and dogs. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities and softball. She is an avid Sacramento Kings fan!
Carol has worked at Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital since 1994. She graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1990 with a degree in Biology. Carol has owned several dogs. She enjoys playing English Handbells and camping.
Jean RVT VDT, has been at Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital since 1996. She graduated from Western Career College in 1996 and has completed additional training in veterinary dentistry. She has three daughters and grandchildren. She has owned dogs, cats, goats, chickens and turkeys. Jean is very involved with the local 4H club and FFA. In her spare time she enjoys camping and fishing.

Melissa RVT, has worked at Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital since 2006. She graduated from Western Career College in 2007. She has owned cats and a dog. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and writing.
Raeann RVT, joined Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2011. She graduated from Western Career College in 1994. Raeann owns cats, dogs and horses. She is involved with a local horse group that patrols Dry Creek Parkway and helps provide crowd control for Rio Linda Community functions.
Lindsey RVT, is the newest RVT to join Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2015, but has worked with Dr. Codde previously for over 10 years. She obtained her RVT license in 2004. She owns dogs and cats. Outside of work she is a very busy mom.
Tiffany has been working at Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital since 2013. She is currently attending classes to become a registered veterinary technician and will be able to take her board exams later this year. She has volunteered with Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue since 2008. She owns dogs and cats.
Wally joined Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2016, bringing with her over 30 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist. She has worked with Dr. Codde for numerous years previously and we are thrilled to have her here with us. She owns dogs and cats.
Linda has been working at Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital since 2013. Previously she worked in the human healthcare industry for over 30 years. She owns dogs, but has owned a variety of animals in the past and enjoyed barrel racing.
Darrin started working at Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2012. He loves working with animals. He has owned cats, dogs, lizards and spiders. In his free time, he loves music and plays the keyboard and guitar. Halloween is his favorite holiday. He also loves fixing things and is quite handy around the hospital.
Lyana joined Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2015. She is currently a full time college student and has aspirations of becoming a veterinarian. She also volunteers at Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue and has adopted a dog from there
